About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled nursery supervisor to manage and develop the first professional fruit tree nursery in the Mekong Delta. This role is critical in ensuring that our farmers receive healthy, high-quality seedlings that are productive and disease-free.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
• Manage and operate fruit tree nursery, ensuring production of high-quality seedlings for citrus and other tropical fruits.
• Implement best practices for nursery management, including propagation techniques, pest and disease control
• Test and screen new rootstocks for citrus in Southern Vietnam
• Test and screen suitable citrus mother plants
• Develop and maintain systems for quality assurance and traceability of seedlings
• Train and supervise nursery staff to ensure adherence to international standards and company protocols.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to introduce improved varieties to our farmers
• Monitor nursery performance and maintain accurate records for reporting and continuous improvement.
• Support extension teams by providing technical advice on seedling care and orchard establishment.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills
· Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in agriculture, horticulture, agronomy, or related field
· Minimum 3 years of practical experience on a citrus farm
· Highly motivated, energetic, and eager to learn
· Strong ability to supervise local farm teams
· Hardworking, hands-on approach
· Experience with organic citrus production (a “nice to have”)
· Fluent in Englis

To further professionalize our extension team and our contract farmers we are looking for an experienced nursery supervisor to be based in the town of My Tho in the Mekong Delta.
